What happens if you miss your reservation?

We arrive at 11AM on the 12th of September, I've got a reservation for Le Cellier at 2:20. That gives us 2 hours to get to the hotel, check in and an hour and twenty minutes for misc. travel time ot Epcot, etc. I think we will be OK.

If for some reason, our plane is late, we get held up, and we miss our reservation, will that be a problem?

I would obviously try to cancel, but if we are in the air etc, I just was wondering how that will effect our ddp?

it won't affect your credits if you don't show.

If it were me, I wouldn't feel comfy doing it, IMO that's just not enough time. All the rushing and stress for an ADR? That's just not the way to start of our vacation

Just because you land at 11a, doesn't mean you get off the plane at 11. You still have to deplane, monorail through the airport, get luggage, or board ME.

Its just too tight of a situation for me. If you can push back your reservation I say to try that.

I was told by a cast member that restaurants hold your reservation for 15 minutes beyond your time. After that they will do their best to fit you in. (Disney talk for it will probably happen but we never guarantee anything!!!)

I think you'll be okay. We landed (meaning plane touched down) at 9:50. By 11:50, we were walking into the MK. During that time we had to get off the plane, find ME, check in, wait for our bus, take the bus to POP, wait at POP to check in, go to our room, organize our backpack for the day, walk to and find the resort bus stop, wait for the MK bus, find guest relations at MK, and then enter the park. I'm still amazed at how well things run. It's never perfect and problems can happen, but I think my experience is more typical.

I asked a similar question a couple of days ago. I don't know about you, but I'll be hungry after all that traveling! which is why I booked it that way on purpose.

However, if you notice that it has taken a very long time to leave the airport or check in or whatever, you can call Disney Dining from your resort phone (for free) and they can help you to cancel or change the dining time (both as a help to yourself and a courtesy to others who may desire the table they are holding for you).

That's why I did it this way. We will have been traveling since 4:30 AM, and know we will be ready to eat, and it will give us a chance to sit, and have a nice meal.

When we went in January, I know we where in the parks 2 hours after landing. So this leaves us 3 and a half.

I think you'll be fine. We average about 2 1/2 hours from gate to gate - airport gate to park gate.

Have a great trip!

We had and ADR at LTT in MK on our arrival day for 2:30. We were supposed to land at 11:00, so I figured plenty of time! Long story short, the plane was delayed taking off, we had a crazy ME driver who got lost, and drove slower than should be legally allowed, we were the last resort dropped off, we checked in and went to board the monorail and it was broken down and stayed that way for nearly 30 minutes. We STILL made ot to LTT in plently of time. In fact, we even went and saw the Tiki bird thing first. I think you should be fine
