What happens if you miss your first fp+ attraction?

Yes you will retain remaining passes but will be unable to move or change the FP you missed.

Is this new? There have been multiple reports of people completely missing their window and being able to change their time/ride afterwards. Has something recently changed?

If you miss one of your pre-planned FP+, will you be allowed to schedule a 4th?

I ask because we all know that some of the rides are throwaways- but you must book 3 to get a 4th. But do you have to USE them, or just let the window expire before heading to a kiosk to get a 4th?

I remember before the 4th fp+ rule, if you didn't use your FP, you were able to reschedule. So basically people would get to X ride, see that the SB line was quick and would just ride SB. Then schedule a different ride.

I guess that changed with the additional passes?

I'm wondering because I have some AK FP+ scheduled for the AM. We'll be in Disney for a while so I figured I'd guarantee the rides I want that way. However they're in the AM and I just thought if I did it that way and could ride SB for all 3, I'd just reschedule my passes from scratch.

Can I not do that now? So if you don't use it, you lose it? Doesn't really make sense if you ask me.

According to Mesa's FP+ thread, you can still reschedule an expired FP, so it looks like nothing has changed there. Thank goodness! :goodvibes

I know that the 3 pre scheduled fast passes must be in the same park, but do all the bonuses have to be in the same park?

For instance, if I have used my first 3 in MK then schedule the 4th in MK and use it, can I then hop over to EPCOT and schedule more of the rolling FP+? Or since I started the Rolling 4+ in MK now I can only get them there?

Maybe it changed so you can but in January we missed a pass and after the expiration it would not allow me to change it or schedule a new one. This was before the rolling 4th passes though so perhaps it's changed since last I went. I could test it tomorrow because I have an AP and see for sure.

After your 3 preselected FP's in one park, you can get more in the same park or hop to a different park and get more there.

Just remember that as of right now, every FP after your first 3 has to be booked one at a time at a FP kiosk. So you can use all 3 at MK, park hop to HS, go to a kiosk and book a 4th FP. Then once you ride or the time passes, go to another kiosk and book a 5th

When we visited in September you could not reschedule a missed FP+. We are at WDW now and we rescheduled a missed FP+ with no issues so the rule has changed as noted in the mesaboy thread.

For as long as I remember, you could reschedule any FP of the day, including those that were unused and the time had already passed.

MY DS missed a FP+ in Dec, his 1st one of his 3 for that day. Not only could I reschedule the missed one but I could get it in another park...not sure why but it let me.

During early testing this was 100% not the case. I witnessed it as did the poster above you. I thought it was my January trip but now I'm thinking about it more likely it was my September trip which was much earlier in testing.

But I am glad they changed that. Even if it might be more beneficial to leave it expired so you can park hop and schedule a new FP at a new Park.

You can reschedule it for the next available. I missed my tsm fast pass and thought I was done for then. The cm played around and finally an afternoon time popped up.

When I was there a couple weeks ago, I didn't have to wait until I got to the other park to book the 4th FP+. On 2 separate occasions (2 different days), I was helped by a FP+ CM with an ipad, and was able to book my 4th FP+ in a different park. Once I was in Epcot and booked my 4th FP+ in MK. Another time I was in Epcot and booked my 4th FP+ in HS.

This cannot be done at the kiosks, and the 'non-ipad carrying CM' will tell you it can't be done. But- if the CM has an ipad, it CAN be done.
