Thanks for reporting back. And I'm glad you persevered instead of listening to all the doom and gloom advice! As an editorial aside, this type of experience is why I almost always rent a car. There are so many times when the impossible becomes possible simply by avoiding the public transportation system. And if a rental car isn't in the budget, a few cab rides will usually do the trick.

Sorry, I missed your justification here. Renting a car and "avoiding the public transportation system" had nothing to do with making their 'OHana dinner. They did not rent a car and they did use DME.
