Been planning our first trip for over a year, but in light of the ecomony I am now worried about hubby and his job. Would like to book when and if free dining is offered in April, but can I cancel  If something happens?

You have 45 days to the date of travel to cancel your trip with no penalties. After that they keep some money. I don't remember the exact amount, but it might be the whole deposit. Isn't the economy wonderful??

Thanks for the info, don't want to think about having to cancel, but want to be prepared. Man I hope things turn around.

Hi rblambrett,

I feel your pain on this one. We, too, are cautiously planning a trip in late August, but my husband works for the auto industry, so we're very, very worried about the future. Add in the fact that my dad is battling lung cancer, and honestly....who knows what the end of summer will bring? :confused3

Here's hoping for some good economic news in the coming months for all of us. May you experience that first trip to Disney as planned! :goodvibes

If its a room only reservation - then you can go up until 5 days prior

Very sorry to hear about your dad. I hope your hubby hangs on to his job and the economy turns around so we can both go to the happiest place on earth!! :dance3:

Thanks for the kind thoughts :goodvibes .

We celebrated our son's 13th birthday at Disney last month, so if we don't get there again in August, then it won't be the end of the world (oh heck, who am I kidding? I'll be devastated! :sad1: ).

YOU ... on the other hand.....a first trip!   How exciting! Will have my fingers crossed that all works out for you. :thumbsup2
