What happens if done with brkfst before park opens?

We have breakfast ADR at 8AM for a 9AM park opening. What happens if we get done eating before the park officially opens? Can we hang out in the restaurant until park opens and then walk from restaurant to rides from there or do we have to go back to the front entrance?

Depending on where you're eating and who is with you, you might not be finished by opening time. For example, if you're having a character breakfast - particularly a princess one - then it will be drawn out as you wait for refills, since they're not buffets.

As for what you get to do, I don't know. It will probably depend on the park. I would think you might be able to wander over to some of the rides and wait for FP.

But, really I don't know. I'm looking forward to the answers from those with more experience and certainly more knowledge than I.

My experience is that you can stay in the park but they will only let you go so far.

In MK you can walk up and down Main St all the way up to and through the castle but all the entrances to the lands will be roped off until official park opening. Take this opportunity to get some nice shots of the family in front of the castle without a bazillion people in the background.

AK - Tusker House is all the way in the back of the park next to the Safari so once you finish your meal you can get in position for that ride and beat all the crowds coming from the rope drop at the front of the park. You will not however as far as I know be able to venture over into the other areas for example Asia and Dinoland.

No experience with Epcot and DHS. DHS I would assume they hold you at the hat until rope drop.

Don't forget- with epcot you are going to be in norway, so good luck if you can check in, photo, eat and get anywhere in the park in futureworld before 9

You can stay in the park but will be roped off until opening time. we ate at HS early "thinking" would get a jump on Toy Mania fast pass.. so did many many others. They have CM standing by roped off areas...until opening time...any early breakfast in the parks have had to show day tickets so did not have to go back to front entrance.

Epcot...you can wander from Akershus back to Test Track but they don't let you in until park opening. We arrived back a few minutes early and sat outside and just waited...we were first on, and they let us go straight thru for that first ride (no preshow) so we were out and back in line a 2nd time REALLY quick.

For Soarin, you can go over as far as where they hold the International gateway arrivals before rope drop, and then join the rope drop crowd from there.
