My guess is that DVC will offer some type of event that you have to pay for.

They have already... It's been moved to DCL on Embarkation day! ... Cost is that of the stateroom you are in!

We were there a couple of weeks ago. We got to enjoy a presentation on the Poly & then we were moved to see the model rooms for the Poly, VGF & Hawaii. Then we were moved again to have pineapple slushies with Stitch. Then moved for the last time to experience samples from Ohana (yum). I'm not sure if they plan on continuing it, but we really had a good time.

I don't think that was the replacement for Welcome Home Wednesdays. I think it was just a limited series of events promoting sales of PVB, VGF and Aulani. We attended one on a Thursday - nice entertainment before the sales pitch, tasty food & slushies, visit with Stitch - had to have been paid for by Sales! Member Services doesn't have the budget!
