What happened to the squirrels?

I could have sworn the model THV had a bed with two squirrels poised atop one of the headboards. They aren't on the pictures of the actual units. Were they victims of the recession?

Yes, unfortunately last set of Disney's cutbacks required that they let them go. They have moved north to spend time in DC where they've gotten jobs as Lobbyists & have never done better -- but I hear the pressure of living in an urban area is getting to them & they want to move back home.

... you didn't buy into SS just for the Squirrels did you? I believe their cousins the bunnies are still over at VWL.

Actually -- Actor's Equity filed a grivenace on behalf of Chip n Dale,
and that put a stop to the whole idea.

No, I was already an owner, but I was hoping they would scare the snakes away after reading the thread on snakes at Disney, particulary the one about the snake being in someone's bed...guess I'll have to hope that the spitting frogs will do the trick.
