What happened to the lady that needed help?

Some time ago, there was a pretty active thread from a lady requesting help. She had recieved the cruise from some friends, and needed help with adding a daughter to the trip. As I remember, they had many personal and family problems and really needed pixie dust. Well, before they left, she received help right from someone in the know, but I never heard anything simce she got back. Was there a new thread, trip report, etc that I missed?

I don't think that there was ever anything further from her. I think the thread died out a few weeks ago.

I was wondering the same thing just this morning. I never saw anything from her again. Not even how her cruise was. Anybody???

I hate to be a cynic, but.......

That was a pretty intense thread, and everything seemed to work out for her in the end (maybe thanks to a lot of pixie dust from those of us here on the board). However, since no one has heard anything since she returned, I can only wonder (no pun intended) if the whole thing was a ruse.

No, the poster and the help was most definitely REAL as was stated on an earlier thread on the topic. The poster has simply chosen not to post an update on this board, and that is her prerogative.

I hope that does not mean that things did not go well. The poster had <I>promised</I> to give us a full report upon returning. I hope there wasn't a problem.

Towards the end of that thread there was a post from a man who had met the lady onboard. He said that she was very appreciative of the pixie dust she received. There were many who were anxiously awaiting an update, me included. It's nice to know that everything worked out for her, we just don't know all the details.
