There used to be a great show with audience involved dancing at MK -- I thought included Goofy, Woody and Jessie.

Could not find it this time down.

Wondering if it was cancelled and if so why.

Was there on 2/7 and was looking for it too. The CM said it is gone now but instead there a meet and greet the characters Woody,Bulleye and Jessie. They are now in the same building that the dancing was in.

Wow, I can't believe it's gone already. How long was it the Goofy, Woody, Jessie show?

I still remember it when it was the Diamond Jim Horseshoe Review, and was the best "free" sit down show in the park! We use to race from the entrance of the park as kids to get any tickets still available as they usually sold out for the day within an hour or so of park opening...I'm surprised they never started charging for it since it was so popular.

Umm, I guess good family-fun live entertainment costs too much these days...too sad.

I really miss the Diamond Horseshoe Revue (Disney suits if you are reading take note -- that was exactly the type of family entertainment that Walt had in mind, everyone could enjoy from toddler to grandparents!)

I've heard that they took away the "ho-down" because of safety issues. Children were getting trampled or something like that. Someone else must remember this discussion more clearly than I.

I'd love to read the discussions on this. If the new Woody show was just an adaptation of the old Diamond Horseshoe Review, the performers did come through the audience at the start and a couple of times during the show, but nothing critical to the show itself and could have been easily modified. It sounds more like an excuse to eliminate free good-family-fun live performances.

Again, too sad...

There were very few seats at the Ho Down and all the seating was on the second floor. it was very crowded and the children got to line dance with the characters. We're used to standing, and to the crowds, so we thought it was great.

The thread I read about it said there were numerous complaints about the crowds and not enough seating.
