Yes, it closed. A new restaurant is now in its place. We're sad because we really enjoyed Spoodles.

Can anyone recommend a good place to breakfast on a Mickey Waffle and french toast in the Swan/BW vicinity?

The restaurant that replaced it is called Kouzzina by Cat Cora and has a similar cuisine.

But there is also the Cape May Cafe at BC and Captain's Grille at YC... idk about Swan or Dolphin though. You can also get into Akershus in Epcot by 8AM... if you can get that ADR.
