What is the Resort Vacation Certificate?
The Resort Vacation Certificate entitles the recipient to a seven-night stay at a participating resort. Vacations in this program are based solely upon availability at the time of booking.

Where can I travel?
The resort Vacation Certificate may be used for all vacations listed at www.getawayweeks.com.

Can I bring someone with me?
You may bring as many people as the unit sleeps.

How do I book my vacation?
First check availability through www.getawayweeks.com. Once your destination is determined simply call the toll-free number indicated on the certificate.

What are the peak or high travel seasons?
The best availability is during off-peak times of the year. Peak times are generally when children are out of school, holiday weeks, spring break and summer months. If space becomes available during these peak times, it will most likely be on short notice, 2-14 days prior to travel.

Can I give my vacation certificate to another person?
Yes. At the time you book your reservation you will provide the name of the traveler. At that time it will become non-transferable.

Price is per certificate.

Very odd. I'm acquainted with the owners of Hotel Kingdom, they are friends with the co-worker of a friend of mine. Maybe I'll give them a holla to see what's up with their site.

I agree. It used to be a little chintzy but at least it was navigable. Now---uggh. Tried to use it a few weeks ago and it drove me nuts! Had to switch between their site and another to get more info about the hotels.

They need to know that this is NOT an improvement!

It's not doing so well these days. I hope they go back to the way it was. I wanted to book a room but finally gave up.

I hate new hotelkingdom.com site. I can't find anything I want on there. Everything is had to find.

You are much better off using an Entertainment book and just calling each hotel directly. The Rand McNally Road Atlas book also is a good place for coupons and hotel discounts.

These Hotel discount sites are usually nothing but a waste of time, and you don't end up even saving much money.

That might be true in some cases, but HotelKingdom has access to Cypress Pointe/CP Grande Villas inventory, and offers it at a very fair price.

I don't know if it's good for anything else, but it is good for that.

I don't know if it's good for anything else, but it is good for that.

Cypress Pointe and CPGV are available thru other avenues. We have them thru a consolidator and most times the prices are better than what they had.

Actually a couple places I've seen offer that property. ;)

I recall reading about another outlet for the Cypress Pointes, but everytime I've looked for weeks I care about, they've had nothing available. HotelKingdom has the most *consistent* access to inventory that I know of.

We booked our Thanksgiving week trip at CPGV through alpharooms.com and it was a perfect experience.

Just logged on to hotelkingdom. I don't find usage much different. The background etc is new but use not. I have used before and probably will again but do prefer skyauction

thank you I failed to kept that email address and yes their inventory looked nice and they had Cypress Pointes for some weeks.

I tried the website a while back just as they changed it. Said it there were testing out a new layout. Right away I sent an email and told them they should change it back. It is horrible and I refuse to use it until they change it back or it is navigation friendly. I am with the other person about HK being the place to book Cypress Point. Their inventory is pretty good and usually a good rate compared to others websites.
