What happened to getting your name embroidered on your mickey ears?

We got our boys new ear hats and had their names embroidered on them at Big Top Souvenirs at the back of NFL when we were there in August.

Yep, now that you mention it, I saw them doing it there last week, I forgot about that.

Years ago (When Lion King show was playing in Fantasyland) I worked in a store where we sewed the names on hats. In the olden days there was a sewing machine that was used to place name on hat. I've heard that it is now done by a computer. Sigh. The rule for names was we could only do real names since once you get into nicknames it is easy to slide down the rabbit hole.

I'm pretty sure the go to place in Epcot to get the embroidered mouse ears is "Mouse Gear." I'm not to sure if they still embroider them but when I went last March they did mine.

The Chapeau on Main Street is always my go-to. I've never seen it busy and the CMs there are always really, really nice.

I had one done back in 2006, and I can't remember. I'm sure things have changed since then also..lol

Last time I checked which was a year ago it was 3 for standard embroidering which is your real name and only 3 fonts to choose from. Nicknames or fancy font and color was 8.

Can I get bride and groom ears embroidered? I would like them for a shower gift for my niece who is honeymooning in at WDW this summer.
