The Wonders Pavillion closed in January 2004 (I believe). It is said to be "operating seasonally" but as far as I know it has only been open once since, over Easter of 2004.

I also noticed in September that the whole area looked a little seedy. I wonder if it will eventually be torn down and replaced.

WoL was open when we were there in December of last year ('04).

When we were last at WDW (November 2003) the WOL pavilion was mostly empty. I have a great picture of my son standing in front of the "Body Wars" sign that notes that the "Wait time from this point is 0 minutes." I remarked to my wife "I won't be shocked if they shut this place down."

You may have caught it when it was "open seasonally" as it closed the January after Mission Space opened (which was Fall 2003)

I asked a CM about it the last time I was at WDW (Aug, 2005) 'cuz I've never seen it open during any of my visits over the past 2 years.

The CM said that they had lost the corporate sponsor for the pavilion (it was one of the healthcare industry companies) and that it wouldn't re-open unless another sponsor stepped in.

MetLife was the corporate sponsor. The last time I was in the pavillion, none of the shows were operating. You could just walk around. Boring.
