What happend to the resort...

Where you could stay in a treehouse??? I have been searching on WDW website and I cant find it anywhere..Does it still exist?

It was called the Treehouse Villas located near Downtown Disney. They are no longer in available. I believe they made way for Saratoga Springs.

We stayed in a treehouse Villa once many years ago. It was one of my favorite trips.

We passed them last Feb on our boat trip from POFQ to DTD, and again this November on a bus ride from AKL to DTD. Interestingly enough every CM we spike with about the Treehouses has a different story of what is happening with them.

They are still there, but they are no longer operational. I have heard that they are going to redo them as part of saratoga Springs, and I have heard that they are going to knock them down and build saratoga Springs there. They looked like they were pretty neat in their heyday.

We to had a great experience at the tree house villas. Every time I tell anyone about staying there,no one knows what I'm talking about.We have great memories of this resort and like to pass by on our boat rides to the market place. This resort was very private and quiet.Plenty of room too! Three differant levels with two bedrooms Up stairs,two baths ,large living area,large kitchen and spiral staircase leading to another sleeping area and laundry.The tree houses are truly missed But we have had fun staying at different resorts every time we visit.
