Hello.

What grocery store did Tiffany town car stop at if you were staying at a Disney resort (for anybody that has used this service)? How long do they give you to get what you need? We just need to run in and purchase soft drinks and a few items. I figure I'll have a list made out before I go so it shouldn't take long.

Thanks for any replies.

We stopped at a conveniece store instead... I think it was a 7-11, and got beer, soda, and a toothbrush for DD and me, since I had forgotten to pack them. Since we knew we weren't going to be eating in the room, there was really no reason to stop at a full fledged grocery store. Goodings is a good one, though!

Albertsons, a nice, large, new store just off the Greenway. They give you half an hour. There is also a liquor store next to Albertsons.

We got Publix. . .not sure why the differences in stops.

On several trips TTC stopped at Publix. The last time our driver took us to a new Kash and Karry. It was very clean and well stocked. Prices were reasonable. We ask to stop at a certain Publix when we order our T'day dinner from them so we know where to go to pick it up:) We have a shopping list ready and rarely take longer than 30 min.

You posted that you stop at a certain Publix store and get T'day dinner. Explain this please. I was wondering if we can do the same thing prior to our trip and preorder our grocieries.

Thanks.

Minybear,
Publix offered to cook a Turkey dinner, with mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, stuffing, cranberry relish. You could add a la carte sweet potato casserole and some other sides. We bought pies for dessert. We ordered it once we arrived on the Monday before Thanksgiving but we could have called an order in but I wanted to be sure we knew what Publix it was we were ordering from! There are so many! We had to pick the order up Wednesday. We are DVC so we have the full kitchen to heat it up in. It worked out great and we had the leftovers we all like so much. We will do it again on our Thanksgiving trip 11/03.
Publix does have a web sitewww.publix.com They list an 800 #. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the web site. I will save it for our trip in January and preorder prior to leaving. We are also DVC members and our first trip as DVC members (BCV 1 bdrm).

When I went a few weeks ago TTC took us to a Kash and Karry nice place and good prices too. On past trips we used a Publix and Goodings as our store stop.
