What goes on during the Wednesday night chat?

Wednesday seems to come and go and I forget to get online in the evening to check out the weekly chat. If DH decides to play his XBOX360 Live tonight, I may actually get on and see what all the hoopla is about. Do people just throw out random topics? How does it flow? I've heard Julie joke about people doing finger exercises beforehand. Does it move that quickly? Being on the DISboards for two years now, I know DISers are a VERY chatty group in general. I can't wait!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Hope to chat with y'all tonight.

Thank you for all the responses. Now, I am keeping my fingers crossed DH will play Halo3 tonight. Not that I would have to twist his arm or anything. He usually gives me the puppy dog eyes like a little kid and I know his friends from work are online that evening. I love my "big kid".
