What Food will you always

Peanut butter sometimes runs out and might not get replaced for a week or two.

ALWAYS on hand:
Onions
Garlic
Carrots
Canned Tuna
Coffee
Milk
Some type of bread

Peanut butter, yes. There's always another jar stored away waiting for the current one to be empty.

Some flavor of jam

We have one of those long, shallow drawers in the middle of our refrigerator that's always 98% filled with cheese.

Always stocked up on potatoes.

Some kind of cereal (but not necessarily milk to go with it!)

Salad dressing (but not always salad, haha)

Cat food :p

There's nothing that I can think of that I ALWAYS have on hand. When I run out is when I get more...

Fosters for when @bcla comes to visit.

VB for all the invading bogans

Fosters? I remember my on visit to Australia I was reading a newspaper discussing whether there should be a new Australian flag without a Union Jack. The author of the piece was jokingly suggesting that it should feature a kangaroo holding a can of Tooheys.

I like beer but I'm not a beer snob. Anything from Bud to a good IPA. Right now I'm enjoying Stereotypical (a West Coast IPA) from Fieldwork Brewing. And if anything I like to have something from Russian River Brewing in my refrigerator - maybe Pliny the Elder or Bling Pig.

find at your house ?

Peanut butter, if you dont like that delicious delicacy, then I dont really like you :snooty:

Organic (no salt or sugar added) peanut butter. much, MUCH, MUCH more better for you. :duck: Smucker's Strawberry Preserves and Ritz Hint of Salt crackers.

Nespresso KAZAAR espresso, da-bomb

Coffee, wine, and beer. Plus there's always fruits and vegetables and some type of fish/seafood.

I don't like dairy or meat so there may or may not be any in house, depends on what DH and DD want.

I'm not including the crap ton of stuff that's always in the pantry.

We always have a TON of cereal. DH and kids go through 3+ boxes a week.
Peanut butter
String cheese (it's been my kids' go to snack since they eat it! Going on like 8 years!)

Wow, so rude. Yes you will find peanut butter at my house. Crunchy and smooth. I'm repulsed by both.
:snooty::crazy2:

You will always find tofu here though low-key. Rest easy. lol
I am also not a PB fan. I'll eat a sandwich maybe twice a year but that's all. Not even PB candy...

Interesting thing about Foster's...
That's my maiden name and my grandfather and his brothers spent a few years researching the name. I can't remember the exact details, but they found out that Foster's was originally like an English wine company. The original founders sold it and it morphed into what it is now. (I was like 10 when he told me all of that so my recollection may be fuzzy... Don't take that info as gospel).

ETA- I just did a little research of my own and found conflicting info... I don't know if maybe my grandfather found other things that aren't part of the "official history":confused3
Maybe I need to move it to the thread about what you thought you were always right about...

I live in Europe and peanut butter isn't easy to come by here. I may (or may not) generally bring back one or two big jars when I'm back in North America. I may also stock up on soft brown sugar (don't get me started on what passes for "brown sugar" here).

chocolate!!
peanut butter
eggs
apples
canned tuna
olives
fruit snacks
crackers
chicken stock
cheese
garlic

Wine, beer, liquor, hard cider
Coffee, tea
PB,jam
half and half
cheese
granola bars

Chocolate- it’s DH’s snack of choice most evenings. He has a drawer in the kitchen dedicated to it.

Also, pasta and sauce, cereal, coffee, creamer, K-cups, butter, eggs, cheese.

I'm with you on the peanut butter, I may go weeks without eating it but it's always here. Also, while not a food coffee. My honey always keeps two spare cans of both his and my brand, it's like toilet paper in our house, you always have extra. Again, while not food there is always wine because I belong to a wine club where I get 3 bottles a month with the club then normally buy another bottle or two when I go to monthly tasting. Honey doesn't drink wine and when I open a bottle it can take me a week to drink it and there are actually some weeks I don't drink any. I have a sort of wine cellar in our basement with a wine rack for red and one for whites, a wine fridge with two different temperature settings in the two sections for red and white that stays full and an extra small 6 bottle wine rack in my dining room that is always full. What can I say, I like wine.
