What Food to Cook

Hello,
We are staying in an OceanInn Room @VB for 2 days so we won't have a full kitchen. We would like to save money and have dinner in our room. Has anyone ever made dinner in a studio, and what did you cook? Or maybe we can order a pizza, is there a pizza place close?

Orchid Island Pizza is right across the street from the resort, and we liked their food. There's a Publix on Rt. 1 going N, but it's on the south side of the highway, and it has good rotisserie chicken, we've had that for dinner, good sandwich fixins too. I've not really cooked in our inn room.
