We will be staying at POP Century in about 3 weeks. Their menu at the food court looks HUGE! What is your favorite food item from them for lunch or dinner?

I got a pizza there, and their breakfast meal and both were disgusting. Maybe I just went at off times... I need to do my dining report, but here's a really quick recap minus pictures of our POP food experience:

Breakfast on Day 4-
Tony and I both had the Adult Platter (bacon- eh, sausage- I gave mine to Tony & his response was "it's okay...", potatoes- eh, eggs- okay)
Tony - 1 out of 5
Me - 1 out of 5

Lunch on Day 4-
I had a pizza and it tasted like they dumped the whole container of spices on it. I ended up throwing over half of it away. The cupcake was average.
Me- 2 out of 5
Hannah (had a pizza)- 2 out of 5
Kaytea (had chicken alfredo, I think)- 3 out of 5
Tony(had some asian noodle something)- 3 out of 5
Rod(I truly can not remember what he got off the top of my head)- 2.5 out of 5

Of course, I still love POP and I'm just guessing we went on an off day.

In March we had a breakfast there, sausage/egg croisont (sp) and the potatoes.........the potatoes were outstanding!! The rest was good, typical for that type of food.

We also ate lunch there once, I had chicken alfredo, it was "ok" but my DH's meatball sub was wonderful! He shared....lol

we had a cheese steak wrap that was awesome, as well as lo mein (chicken maybe?)

I second the meatball sub, it is great. We have gotten this multiple times.

Our last trip, the night before we left, I had an extra qs credit and the only food place open was the pizza/pasta line. So I reluctanly tried the chicken alfredo....it was fantastic! I loved it, in fact, cannot wait to get it again this next trip.

Parmesan Chicken was good. Pizza was good (both the 2-credit one and the little ones). Chicken alfredo was kind of gloppy. Cheesteak wrap was good. Reuben flatbread was good, but the chef's special chipotle shrimp flatbread was better. I had the Parmesan chicken a couple times - it was my favorite. DD is a mac-n-cheese fan, and she liked Pop's version.

We didn't do much breakfast, but the french toast was pretty good, and DD and I shared that twice. DD mostly had a sugar cookie left over from the night before as her breakfast (ah, vacation).

Favorite snack / dessert: brownie sundae (dessert, but not snack) for ice cream. Apples with caramel for non-ice cream. The mini-cheesecake was good, but very rich.

My friend who stays there alot loves the lo mein. She's also a fan of the POP waffles.

I like the fried chicken dinner, the parmesan chicken and the chicken alfredo.I really love the turkey sandwich-it is smoked turkey with arugala and a white balsalmic vinagret-I tried it the night before we were leaving one trip and I loved it so much I got one to take to the airport the next day. Then last year we stayed at another hotel and we went to pop so I could get one.It is a nice change from all the greasy food.Of course I get a side of cheese fries to go with it though! My husband likes the burgers there better than in the parks-he will wait to get back to the hotel to eat.Last trip we stayed at csr and he didn't like the burgers as much.

We loved the vegetable calzone! lots of veggies and ricotta cheese! SO GOOD!
Ill also agree that the lo mein is very good! we enjoyed it more at POP than at Yak and Yeti, and Sun Shine Seasons.

Also, if you are in the mood for some junkfood, we found out half way through our trip that CHEESE FRIES and NACHOS w/ CHEESE count as only a snack credit!!! It was a very fulling snack to have! My sister was jealous when we went in for a snack -- I came back with cheese fries and she got a package of fruit!

the chicken caesar salad is really good. Also the Lo Mein and I got a Salmon meal that was the special of the day and that was quite tasty.

The only thing that I can remember outright disappointing me was the tie dye cheese cake. It looked so great in the picture in the elevator, but it just didn't live up to my expectations.

Wow! All these positive reviews. We must have just gone on an off day. This thread has inspired me to give the POP Food Court a second chance when we go back in May/June. :thumbsup2

I used to really love the hummus, olive tapenade and freshly-made bagel chips. Last time the hummus wasn't as good, but I would give it a chance again since it was so good in the past.

I love that they have things available that none of the other values have!

We were happily surprised with the food at Pop. We liked the fried chicken "TV" dinner, turkey cibatta sandwich, chicken ceasar and parmesean chicken. :thumbsup2

My faves were the Reuben Flatbread and Parm Chicken Penne with Alfredo sauce. YUM!

The POP waffles are good for breakfast too!

I love a lot of the food at the Pop Century food court but my favorite would be the Pop's Mom's Night Out dinners they have on special nights... I never know when they are but the turkey dinner one is my favorite.

I also enjoy the breakfast foods... yum.
