What food do you usually pick up when shopping in the U.S.?

We are going to Niagara Falls for a few nights to celebrate Dh's 40th. While there, we are going to hop over to Buffalo for some shopping.

What grocery items do you pick up in the U.S. that you can't get here?

My sister wants some Cherry Coke. My kids also like Keebler Bug Cookies.

We like the Archer Farms products at Target too.

Any suggestions for products that are different that we can't find here in Ontario?

My kids are big on Trix Yogurt and another brand that has sprinkles in the lid. School snacks that we can't get here.

Beer...oh yeah we usually pickup Weight Watchers items too, there are a lot you cant get here or at least havent seen here. On the stuff you can get here sometimes the price is better over there. And did I mention beer. Actually I have been buying Landshark Lager, its the new beer from Margaritaville, brewed by Anheiser Busch. Not available over here. Was there yesterday, hit Topps and the Disney Store. Like Wegmans also but didnt get there yesterday.

If I have a cooler with me, I'll pick up the Whipped Yogurts, mini Ben and Jerry Ice Cream, milk and cheese, flavoured cream cheese, bacon, etc.

Please note that I don't buy this much crap when I shop normally. These are treats!!!

My kids love all the different kinds of yogurt they have there and we don't like the Dora one, and also Scooby Doo yogurt tubes

We also get Kraft Dinner in shapes we don't have here like Scooby Doo and Fairly Odd Parents.

For me, I bring as much cereal as I think I can eat before the box expires. They have different flavours of Kashi and Weight Watchers.

Honestly, we hear all the time that Americans are overweight. I don't know if that is true and I don't mean any offence by this, but if I lived there I would be overweight too.

I think their choices in the grocery store are amazing and we are sorely lacking!

I go usually 2-3 times per month. We always have to get these Keebler crackers. They are in a lime green box. They have "puff" crackers or there are some "stix" similar to the Ritz stix but flavoured. They are sooo addictive!

Did I mention Cheezits? Mmmm! They're my favourite snack cracker and they aren't available in Canada. I don't get to the U.S. much, but when anyone I know does, they pick me up a box of Cheezits!

For us we love all the different cereals that you can't get up here especially boo berry and frankenberry as others have mentioned. Way more selection, especially of fun sugary ones

My "must-buys" are:
- Goober (peanut butter and jelly, premixed in a jar...yum!)
- Kraft (not the no-name) Easy-Cheeze (cheese whiz in a spray can that doesn't need refrigeration and has a really long shelf life...great for camping)
- Chicken n' Biscuit crackers (yes, the crackers really contain chicken, but they're surprisingly good, even though they may not sound it)

I have a fondness for Miller Chill beer (kind of like Miller's version of Corona, with the lime already added) and a lot of the other snack foods that others have mentioned, so that's usually part of my shopping as well. I also stock up on some stuff like Dryel dry-clean-in-the-dryer sheets, Folgers coffee pods for the Black & Decker Home Cafe coffeemaker, Cheer Colorguard sheets to keep colours from running in the washer, weird flavours of Pop-Tarts and Triscuits and a few other items that have either never been available in Canada or have been discontinued here.

Yes, they have Barbie Poptarts. My cool DH , got quite the looks when i gave him some for work. He said all the girls in the office were laughing at him. He did not realize til he got them out of toaster that they were Barbie

We also get variety of coffees flavors for the Tassimo(chai latte, flavored coffee, black tea)
