Going to BCV for President's week. I am sure there are many threads about this but my search was not working. What little things do you bring that are not provided in a 2 Bedroom that makes vacation more enjoyable? Thanks.

Rob

Good coffee and filters, bottled water to make the coffee with and possibly something to add to the coffee in the evenings ;)

I really like my coffee if you hadn't noticed :surfweb:

We bring a liquid soap pump for the sink....I hate bars of soap for hand washing....too messy.

I fill baggies with Tide and bring dryer sheets as well. Also, I bring some different size baggies to use in the kitchen for food storage and little cereal boxes.

I Second The Coffee!! I Also Bring A Box Of Cereal,i Like The Same Cereal Every Morning.i Get Up Very Early And Have Meds. To Take With Food So That Works For Me.i Also Take Lysol Wipes To Clean Somethings Down.

I bring some of those suction cup hooks (you know, you flip the hook up to loosen it) to hang wet bathing suits in the shower.

Not really for the room, but when we stay at BCV we bring clear (see through) intertubes for Stormalong Bay. They are only a few dollars each at your local store. When we leave we usually pass them on to another family.

That's what we did last summer.
We had friends staying there and left our tubes with them. :)

We get ours at Target...they're the 36 inch ones & cost $2.99 each.

I'm weird! I don't like to wash dishes with a sponge - so I bring a dish cloth. I also bring some salt & pepper. We also bring coffee & filters & the stuff we like in coffee and some tea bags to make iced tea. I always wish I had brought some pump soap, so I need to start packing that. Since we drive down, I try to keep some things in a DVC bag that I bring each trip to save us from having to buy those things at the store. I do go to the store and buy breakfast foods and some snack foods and lots of bottled water.

Microwave Popcorn!!!popcorn::Splenda or whatever for our coffee. The filters you need are the round ones for the coffee maker. I bring my french press and a coffee grinder and fresh beans, ok..yes I love good coffee in the morning! Laptop..so I can DIS and a travel router so my teenagers and DH can do whatever they do on the net :rotfl:.Not for the room so much, but for the parks, I always bring a pack of cards, mine are Pooh cards, or Tink, to keep in my bag to play crazy eights in line while we wait. Also wine or something is nice, H2 and soda are nice for the frig, plus good to take in the park. Something for breakfast, poptarts, cereal, yogurt with oatmeal. Like others have said..detergent for the washer, bring in a baggie, packs better.
Have a great trip!

I always bring zip lock bags no matter where I go, along with Lysol wipes and hand wipes. Also as my husband and I love coffee, we bring coffee from home along with filters (the small round ones with sides). I also bring sugar, salt and pepper packets.

We use DME and like to fill a suitcase with bottled water. Then we put any goodies purchased in the suitcase for the trip home.

Thanks for all the great replies!!!! I can't wait to go in 2 weeks!!!
