Is it a roller coaster? 3-D movie? Live show? I've never been.
Spider-Man is a Dark Ride. It's a ride on a track in an enclosed building. It also combines the effects of 3-D AND motion simulation. All three happen at the same time.
spiderman is amazing. even if you are afraid of getting sick, you have to go on it at least once. the special effects are the best i have ever seen. there is no ride like it that i can think of anywhere.
I liked it and at times I thought the vehicle was moving up and down, etc.... Now I come to find out it doesn't amazes me. This is an awesome attraction!

As a benchmark, this is a woman who was terrified on Dumbo and has refused to ride it since![]()
Hulk has loops, but it's so fun I don't think that you will think of fear. The Dueling dragons have two roller coasters, FIRE AND ICE. They are both very ruff, and it seems that we always get headaches whenver we get done riding it. It has a ton of loops though.
The vehicle DOES move up and down. The base of the vehicle follows the track and does not change direction at all. The part you sit in has mechanisms that allow the upper part (your part) to move 360 degrees, up, down, and tilt.
Cat in the Hat is similar, as the base stays on the track, not changing direction. The part you sit in can spin rapidly.
The ride leaves the ground.....by about 5 feet. It seems like its much more, but its not....they put you up against Imax screens and you have 3-D glasses on. Its a bit intense, but very very good. You leave the ground, but you are still attached to the track and still attached to the base of the ride vehicle.I am confused. I thought someone said the ride vehicles doesn't leave the ground - and now you say it does! Uh man! Anyways, what I am referring to is the intense scences like when you are falling, etc... I thought that the ride was more like a Peter Pan at Disney (you know track in the air) type of things, but I was mistaken.
