What ever happened to food vouchers?

According to Hotwire they are no longer available. I have found some on Ebay for outragous prices. I can't believe people will pay$25 for a casual lunch/dinner voucher. Anyhow thought I would tap the vast knowledge base of DIS.

I do believe the vouchers are no longer. With the new Magic Your Way package and add on dining they discontinued meal vouchers.

Well that stinks. Being a DVC member, and AP holder I stand no chance on taking part in that little goody. I guess Disney doesn't want us to save too much.

Since you're an AP holder, you could get a Disney Dining Experience membership for $50. You'd get 20% off at a number of sitdown restaurants and a few resort counterservice locations as well. It's not quite as good as have $11.50 Q&Cs to use at Beaches & Cream but it's better than nothing.

The nice thing is that the DDE does not specify a time (like the VKLs) and you do not have to get everything from appetizer to dessert. It covers all meals (breakfast, snacks) and even covers alcoholic beverages. It may be worth looking into if you're planning a long trip or more than one trip in a year.
