What enhancement would make DVC perfect for you?

The ability to see room availability on-line AT LEAST. I'd love to know at -7 months out what resorts are available for my planned visit, before calling.

On-line booking would be even better.

I am a big discount person, but I recognize that regular ticket discounts are unlikely to happen, since we are a captured audience already. We are going to WDW to use our points, and we'll need to buy tickets to enter the parks, so why does DVC need to encourage anyone to give us a discount? If anything, better discounts on dining to compete with the FREE DINING offers that we are left out of would be great.

On line booking, actually getting room requests if requests were made at the time of the reservation, DVC mug - home resort specific that is good indefinitely, an actual dvc annual pass discount. Right now the dvc pass is the same price as Florida resident, DVC parking lot at the parks, sort of like the AAA diamond parking. Even if we aren't staying at the villas, it would be nice to have some type of perk for day trips.

Along with the already mentioned discounts and increased online activity, I would like to see them offer fast passes like we got when we went through the preview center. For every stay, a couple of immediate fast passes for every day of the visit for everyone staying in your party.

Discount on regular park tickets!!!!

My vote is for online availability at 11 months and free wifi while I'm on WDW.

ADRs at 11 months out when I book my room. Or even at 180 days. Anything other than this 90 day crap. 90 days is WAY too close, because by 90 days the slackers are catching up. I know 11 months ahead of time where I want my ADRs, and I want to book them. People who wait until 90 days can pick through whatever ADR scraps are left. I would be more than happy to do a credit card guarantee on my ADRs, too.

How about customized annual passes that are only good during the slowest travel times . Being able to add on at your original purchase price per point-One can dream.....

Here are my top three

1.) ONLINE BOOKING!!!!! THis would free up the phones at MS quite a bit.

2.) free upgrade at check-in, when available.

3.) Seasonal AP passes (just like the ones Florida Residents have access to) at the Florida Resident price. They are residents of Florida, we are residents at DVC, would be nice. Those tickets run about 230 for an adult ticket. They do block out some dates (summer, Easter, Christmas) but we don't visit during heavy during heavy traffic times.

I think this would be a HUGE time saver, not only for MS advisors fielding calls on "what's available" but for owners who will be able to see if it's worth their time to even call in.

The only problem is what I referenced above. How do we know that what we see online is real time and actual?

Someone mentioned earlier check in...I'd LOVE a couple hours earlier. I like to "settle in" and not have to wait hours and hours.

I know that's not practical for every resort, given that the larger resorts will take more time to clean, but at some of the smaller resorts, I think that would be possible. But I can't see Disney saying, "Ok, 4pm check in at SSR, OKW, AKV and BWV, but 2pm check in at VWL and BCV." It's a lot easier for them to have a uniform check in time.

Member specific merchandise available for purchase through the member website with a shopping cart and FREE shipping! :)

If I could sell part of a contract. I have 250 points at BWV (one contract). I'd love to buy 100 at GCV but don't really need 350 total. I'd like to sellback 100 of my 250 BWV. I'd even be willing to take the price I bought them at - $65. Less hassle than selling the whole thing and buying a smaller contract. If a GF DVC comes to be, I think I would sell the whole 250 and buy 150 there.

For me, real time booking and changes online, would be a MAJOR improvement to my own DVC experience.
Real time checking of availability would be awesome.

A few things I would really like (but of course don't expect) are:

It think they should add a Carousel to the Saratoga Springs Resort (a free one, not a coin operated one).

I really like the idea of the themed rooms, like they are doing in one of the moderate resorts.
Old Key West would be a good place for some of those Pirate themed rooms.

Rooms with Mickey Mouse waffle irons would be cool, maybe even mickey mouse toasters.
I guess this fits into better theming the actual rooms.
