I've got this memory and I'll probably have it for the rest of my life. It's even in full color! I was seven and we were on the boat to MK. We're on the water and there's loads of plant life and buildings. We turn the corner and i see Cinderella's Castle.I started jumping up and down and saying, "Mom, Mom! It's the castle, it's Cinderella's Castle!" (Yes, I believed she lived there)I remember just marveling at how humongous and beautiful it was. It was perfect.
Seven years later and I still remember how much of an effect the castle had on me. It was and still is magical.
I don't have an exact memory even though my first trip to WDW was only 4 years ago. I do remember being entirely mesmerized by Disney and it felt like I was in this perfect fantasyland. It felt like a place I never wanted to leave.
I truly don't remember the first time I went to Disney World because I was so young.... My real Disney obsession began when i visited Disney in 2008....... I remember getting off the bus and staring at the entrance of Magic Kingdom....Butterflies were in my stomach while laughter filled the air!!!! Walking down Main Street U.S.A. I remember the sweet smells that caused my mouth to water: fresh waffle cones and cinnamon rolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For about five minutes, I stood with my mouth open, speechless, staring at the Walter Elias Disney and Mickey Mouse statue. Ever since then, my Disney Obsession has grown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best part is after getting in the entrance, after seeing the rope-drop show, walking down the middle of mainstreet, listenenning to all the happy music, and at the end, Cinderella Castle. I still cry, and jump up and down (im 16 now..) and it's always a magical feeling
