I'm an old timer too! Went to DL in 1957, 2 years after it opened. I think by and large he would be pleased. Seriously think he might have given alcohol in MK a pause, but over all, I think he would be happy that Disney is such a popular destination for families and people of all ages.

That would be closer to...Where is EPCOT, didn't you even look at my plans? Having Characters would be a small point.

The Carnation Plaza Gardens (now the Royal Theatre) at Disneyland has been hosting Saturday evening swing dancing parties ever since Walt's time.
