Our plans for September are all focused on food since we decided to try out the deluxe dining plan.

We're hitting
Narcoose's
Citricos
Artist Point
Jiko
Flying Fish
Yachtsman
Boma (breakfast)
Raglan Road (dinner at 3 so that I can get Salmon and we can eat dinner again that day)
Hoop De Doo
Spirit of Aloha
Tokyo Dining
Tutto Italia
Wolfgang Puck Cafe (lunch)
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
Yak & Yeti
Rose & Crown (lunch)

I can't imagine how we'll have space to eat 16 snacks on top of all that!

If I get time in the next couple of days, I'll try to give you a better summary of what's when.

OMG while my favorite thing at Dis is the food..... this just makes me feel like I should roll instead of walk. I will be curious to hear how "enjoyable" the food is on that plan! We usually do the regular and do a casual lunch, nice dinner.... and with that I am stuffed! Can't wait to hear how it goes!!! You have some awsome pics..... Just left out Ohana! My favorite! :)

I didn't see you on the September list. When are you going? What day are you in which park? I wanna see the other details!

Please! :)

Well, we're only looking at 2 meals/day still because we're doing so many signatures.

But, I agree with you...we have a hard time finding a use for all of our snack credits on the regular DDP. It's just that we've hit the point where most of the restaurants we want to get to are signatures and so this seemed worth trying once.

We have made a commitment to leaving food we're not interested on the plate, taking leftovers back to the room rather than feeling like we have to eat them, etc.

Ohana got left off for 2 reasons:
1. We looked for places we hadn't been yet that had appetizers we were interested in. (This is why Kona didn't make the list since we aren't really interested in their appetizers.)
2. I'm allergic to meat products, so the thought of big pieces of meat on skewers does not sound appealing. Yes, I can talk to them about arranging another meal, but, I'll already have to do that for HDDR and SofA.

I think I posted on the other thread a long time ago, but, didn't provide specific details so didn't get added to the main list.

We're going Sept 15-23, staying at ASMus. (We booked this as the bounceback from our free dining stay at POR last year. With the new price structure for the resorts, staying at a value and increasing to deluxe dining is cheaper than staying at a moderate with regular free dining, and, I like to back "far away" quiet at ASMus, so, we figured we'd try it.)

Sept 15
1:45 arrival at MCO
(There ought to be time for bus roulette to a park, but, it took about 5 hours for us to get from the plane to our room last Jan so we're not counting on anything--sitting on the ME bus for two hours before it left the airport was really irritating, especially since we'd already waited an hour and a half before they invited us to get ON a bus)
8:30 Narcoose's (hoping to see Wishes and EWP while there)
return to ASMus via DTD and Goofy's Candy Co to use some of our snack credits on "make your own pretzel rods" (pretzel rods because anything else sounds too sugary to mix into this trip)

Sept 16 (daytime parks unknown)
10:30 Chef Mickey's
5:30 Artist Point
after dinner MNSSHP

Sept 17
12:00 Rose & Crown
6:30 Flying Fish

Sept 18
Rope Drop: MK
12:00 Tokyo Dining
7:05 Yachtsman's

Sept 19
11:30 Wolfgang Puck Cafe
5:30 Citricos
(backup night for MNSSHP in case of inclement weather on the 16th)

Sept 20
(8:05 CRT -- we're probably going to end up releasing this, but, haven't made a firm decision yet; if we keep it we'll release two lunches)
11:30 Tutto Italia
5:15 Spirit of Aloha

Sept 21
Rope Drop: AK
12:00 Yak & Yeti
6:20 Jiko

Sept 22
8:50 Boma
3:00 Raglan Road
9:30 HDDR

Sept 23
8ish departure

As you can see, we haven't exactly figured out our park plans. We've found that we both have a very good sense for avoiding crowds and long queues--it's as if we've absorbed the unofficial guide info. So, if we're traveling alone, we've learned that we can play things by ear and make decisions as we go. (When we travel with others we make stricter touring plans.)

I was hoping to be 3-4 months pregnant which would have meant that I couldn't ride a bunch of the more popular attractions and that I should have had space for more food. But, we've just had a second failed IVF round so that may change some things.

I'm sorry to hear about your two failed attempts! Fertility issues stink! My DP is going to be trying IUI during her next cycle. It will be her first attempt. Unfortunately, we had planned for me to be the one to carry the baby but after many failed attempts I found out I could not concieve at all. I am sorry you had another failed attempt. I know how painful it can be.
As for your trip, I hope you have a wonderful time. Your plans sound Yummy! I wish I was going to be enjoying all those meals.

Thanks for the support. The most frustrating part is that they keep saying I have great eggs and they get all excited by the quality of my embryos. But, then, somehow they don't implant and keep growing.

I'm going to push for embryo transfer to both of us during round #3 in the fall.

Good luck to your DP with the IUI.

You asked for it! :yay:

I'll gladly tell anyone about my Disney trips. In fact, my Disney Nephew (14) informed me this past weekend that I need to find another topic. All I talk about is Disney this..Disney that...blah blah blah! I never new my baby would grow up to be a nasty teenager!:rolleyes1 Anyhoo, here are our plans.

Background:
My Aunt wanted to take Gordie (my Disney Nephew) back to Disney as a gift in celebration of his 8th grade graduation. Well, as Grodie would say-it isn't Disney without Auntie! :lmao: The brain washing started long ago. So, knowing that I would be missed-Joni asked us to come along. Unfortunately, my DP could not make it because of work issues. So, it is just the three of us! We bought into DVC and got developer points so we are using those points and staying at SSR in a one bedroom villa. As this trip is for Gordie, I will be allowing him to sleep;) As a teenager he now Loves to sleep late. If he rises before 10:00am during the trip I will surprised. So with that in mind we will be doing late nights and avoid the park that has morning EMH. We do not have a dining package.

Sunday 9/21
Arrive at MCO at 12:30pm
Check in at Alamo and pick up rental car
(We will probably not be using ME anytime soon. Our last two experiences were awful!)
Head to Super Target and pick up groceries for the week
Check in at SSR
Magic Kingdom until we drop from exhaustion!
Ride PoC first! This is a family tradition. PoC is always our first and last ride at WDW!
Dinner at Cosmic Rays

Lunch at Garden Grill 1:00pm

DHS Evening EMH (open until 12:00am)

Well, I can certainly see where you would be distracted right now. I am sorry that things are not working out for you as you have been hoping for.

I hope you have lots of pixie dust during your vacation. It sounds like you guys could use a little joy overload.

Thanks!

A couple of months ago, I had to make some decisions with regards to my job for next year and we ended up choosing the one that will get me less money (but let us go on vacation) because we knew that if the IVF cycle failed we'd really need the ability to look forward to a Sept. trip.

well, we don't usually make too many plans, we just decide what we are going to do the night before! But so far:

21/9 - arrive at Quality inn international, go to 'the george an dragon' for a few pints.

22/9 - IOA all day

23/9 - do a timeshare sales pitch - to get free Disney tickets!

24/9 ? Disney

25/9 ? US

26/9 ? Disney

27/9 - check out of quality inn - check into All star sports. Pick up our package for the Expedition Everest Challenge at Wide Worl of sports. go to Downtown Disney, lunch in Cooks of Dublin (best fish and chips we.ve tasted outside the UK). get to Animal Kingdom for around 6pm, challenge 7 - 9.30 than party in the park until midnight.

28/9 - sleep in! Epcot for the day, lunch in China probably, or mexico, or morrocco etc etc. See, told you we never really make plans!

29/9 check out of all star and back into quality inn

Then just make it up as we go until we leave on October 1st!:dance3:

Let me know how it goes. If I'd known about this challenge when we were booking our trip I'd have tried to adjust our plans to make this happen.

But, our plans for this year are tied into our trip from last year since we're trying to finish off the annual pass we bought then. So, they weren't easily changeable. If it's fun though we'll aim to do it another year.

What's the EE Challenge?

 I just was able to change my resort with the new discount code! I am so freakin' happy right now! I fell in love with POR in April and now I get to share it with Corey. I can't wait to have breakfast at Boatright's. Sweet potato pancakes.....YUM!
