What does your screen name signify?

Came about in mid ‘90’s when computers got better and was an online racing fan. Put Wedge In to tighten the car or take Wedge Out to loosen. Wedgeout was born and stuck as my ‘Stay Loose’ mindset.
That's really good.

Intamin is a rollercoaster manufacturer. The logo on @intamin 's profile is the logo.

Disney uses Vekoma for a majority of it's coasters, but Incredicoaster was built by Intamin.

IDK if there is any other significance besides that, but that's where my mind went.
Yes that was what I stumbled upon on the internet today. Super cool

Geez. I thought everyone just knew this?

Not too long ago, Intamin had a corner on the "ultra-thrilling coaster" market. They still hold their own, but RMC has probably taken the crown. Right now, the Top 10 over at Coasterbuzz includes:

5 RMC
3 Intamin
1 B&M
1 Gravity Group

# 11 is also an Intamin

Way back in the day Arrow was king. They built Matterhorn (the first tubular steel coaster) and WDW's Space. Vekoma is an interesting case; they used to make some very mediocre rides, but lately have been knocking it out of the park.

Nope. I stumbled upon it because there is a roller coaster manufacturer near where I live and Intamin was mentioned on an article about this other place.

What does it mean?
As @PolyRob stated it's a roller coaster manufacturer. Before I became obsessed with Disney and DVC, I was a roller coaster nerd and still am. I just picked up 6 credits at SeaWorld Orlando yesterday 😂. But the one that started it all for me was Top Thrill Dragster, I was obsessed for awhile watching music videos of Dragster and Cedar Point until I finally flew out to Ohio from the West Coast just to go to Cedar Point. One of the best things I Did while I lived in Ohio was drive the 10 hours from Columbus to New Jersey to ride Kingda Ka which WAS a 456 foot, 128 mph ride manufactured by Intamin. Loved every second of it. Ended up getting 5 rides on it in one day, 3 of them in the front row consecutively (the park was extremely dead).

The most notable coaster at Disney is probably incredicoaster that they've made but some of my other favorites are Hagrids and Velocicoaster at Universal both of which are Intamins. Intamin rides are known for having poor reliability and unfortunately long waits, however the ride experience itself IMO is usually worth it and I love that they're always pushing boundaries (see Falcons Flight).

Hagrids is cranky, but primarily because of the <redacted>*. Velocicoaster seems quite reliable! It also totally rocks. Mososaurus Roll FTW! (The Roll is the last element filmed in this)

*: I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

I still can't believe Six Flags imploded Kingda Ka! It was just a teenager 😢
