What does your kids schools have planned

for the last few weeks of school? They seem to push everything into the last 3 weeks of school, and it is really getting in the way of my packing, planning and dising! LOL

this week- appreciation lunchon for teachers, talent show, field trip, spirit night.
next week-school picnic, yr book presentation
last week- field day, class party,chorus pizza party, class walk , and graduation on the last day of school.(June 23 here)

With the reg. things we have to do day to day it makes me tired just looking at this list! LOL
Does your kids school cram everything in during the last few weeks as well?

Yep...pretty much the same here
I always hold my breath hoping the 5th grade's activities and trips don't conflict with the Kindergarten's! It's tough being in two places at once!

I agree with you! This is the start of teacher appreciation week, always busy. We have field trips coming up too, but up here I understand because you can't really do them in the winter much so they all get pushed off until now. Then there are all of the end of year parties and activities. I don't have anyone graduating from anything but I know that has got to be real hectic!!! I am not getting ready for any trips though. My Hubby is doing a consulting gig and can't get any time off right now. I was hoping to go see my mom and sis in Louisiana as soon as school got out but now I don't know when we can go! Still, I am looking forward to school's end, and in about a month I will be ready for them to go back again! My baby starts kindergarten in the fall!!! Lacee

Yep i can see what you mean. I can't imagen if I had more than one child how I would make everything at the right times. To say the least I am not the most organized person.

My kids get out 6/18 and I think between the 3 of them, there is something planned for each week! My older 2 (6th and 7th grade) must have 4 field trips each!!! My DD in 3rd grade hasn't brought anything home yet about a field trip. I know they usually go to the nature center (my older 2 had the same teacher and I know what to expect). I'll have to ask what's up. I don't have to worry about spirit day anymore at least. When I had 3 in the same school....ugh!! I'd spend the entire day running to the different activities so I could at least spend part of the day with each of them!
