If you listen to the rest of the lyrics, you will see he is talking about taking a ride to clear his head. Haven't you ever done that when you have alot on your mind? I have.

I've always wondered about the "stone me" line. Does it mean stone me with rocks, as in stoned to death? Or stone me with a joint, as in getting high?
