What does this mean?

I wasn't sure what forum this belongs in but since it's in relation to resort reservations- I figure this is the forum best suited for this question?

What does it mean when the paper confirmation you get for a reservation says this also on it:


Sport Complex ADM or Mini Golf
And under that lists out Sport Complex ADM or Mini with an A (assuming that means adult) or C (assuming that means child) for each person listed (2 adults, 2 children) with the date next to it being the first day of our stay?

???
Does that mean they are throwing in something special- being either Sport Complex Admission or mini golf per person for the first day of our stay only or WHAT?

Totally confused by this. No mention of this was made when I made the reservations (which btw was a "bounce back" promotion making the reservations from my room before leaving on my last trip) and I wonder if that's something thrown in for free or was I actually charged for it as part of the "room pkg"? Just curious because it's not something I would want to pay for. And if the dates next to it (being the first day of our stay) mean it can only be redeemed that day- we won't be using it. Most likely we'd arrive very late that first day and stay over that night at the hotel/resort before hitting the parks/etc the next day.

Anyone know?

It's probably a perk, perhaps part of your package. The date listed is just the first date of your stay, that doesn't mean you have to use it that day.

You must have reserved using the Disney Club "Basic" or "Room Only" plan.
It gives you free tickets to either the sports complex or for miniature golf. Don't think it has specific dates, possibly for any time during your stay.

Yes, I had to call reservations from the room in order to use the "bounce back" plan to get the discount.
I'm fairly sure it's a good discount because the amount was just $32 more for the same amount of nights (same resort also) AND this time was for preferred building. Thus it was really cheaper than my previous AP rate that I stayed because it should have been $10 more per night going in the preferred building.
So I know I got a good deal- but I don't know for sure how they booked it. I do know it's a "room only" because that's all I wanted to book (no other "plan"- no airfare/etc)

I didn't know about this added perk though! I wonder why I didn't get it last time! LOL

Okay the sport complex admission is really only good if something is going on there, right? I don't really understand the Wide World of Sports thing- I'll have to check into it more. But most likely we'd use the miniature golf. That's nice of them to add that in there.

Everytime I've had a reservation through WDWTC I've always gotten that, but never used it.

The tickets are a perk for any package..even if it is a room only package. And many of the special promos (such as the one you booked) are considered packages even though it is only a room.

My mother and step dad were just down and got those tickets for booking through the Disney Club. They didn't cost anything extra, and that was even pointed out at the desk of the hotel when she checked in. She did need to sign a form stating she was given the tickets (thought that was weird, guess that they want to make sure the CMs are not keeping them???). We did use the tix to go mini golfing...had a blast. They didn't need to use them any particular day.

If you use them...it is a perk, if not, no money has been wasted.
