What does the DJ go over when they first contact you?

We are having a dj. I hear that a mth out they will contact me. What do they go over. Do they give a list of songs that you need to have picked out? i.e. first dance, annoucing the bridal party, mother/son dance, father daugther???

Do they let you pick out alot of the songs and give a disc??

I just got contacted by my DJ on Monday. He gave me a link to his website, and there is a form on there to fill out with different questions about our music selections. If you want to look at the form go to http://www.classicdj.com

Wow, that is a great website. Not sure who or DJ is yet but this gives us a great starting point. We are planning on doing some music selections this coming weekend and I will definately use this website.

That website is fantastic!!! I wasn't even really thinking about a DJ yet but when I saw this thread it made me think so I clicked in and I am so glad I did! Thanks again!

My DJ didnt call me he just sent me an e mail with two attachments that were like what songs I wanted or didnt want and all of the info on the bridal party. I havent heard back from him yet and it was about a week ago. Should I be worried?
