What does the Borat DVD look like?

I just got my copy in my mailbox from Blockbuster. I opened up the DVD and it looks like a homemade DVD with the words Borat spelled in a felt tip like font with the letter A smudged.

I think its just a trick and the real DVD is supposed to look like that. But I thought maybe someone did rip it... although I do think its supposed to be a spoof.

When we rented it last week I thought it was a fake DVD too. You have the real thing.

I've never had a problem before with getting a personal ripped copy, but I thought I would ask.

I wonder how many people who got the Borat DVD reported it as a DVD problem. One of the options of DVD issues is I received a personal copy of a DVD.

Yeah, it looks like a burnt DVD. DF bought it last weekend, and I was the one to open it, I was like, "Um, we got a fake one somebody returned!" After further inspection, I realized it was supposed to look like that.

Easy. Just make sure the one you're returning has the Demorez logo at the top ("Is life? No. Is Demorez." Brilliant!)

If you're lucky you also got a cover that is in Borat's language and an insert that lists other movies also legal to own in kazakhstan.

After reading about these things I made sure to get one of these copies. Funny stuff.

haha. i got one of those copies. not on purpose, but i noticed that it was like all backwards and like i had to look in a mirror to read it.

I have to admit it thru me off also! Then when you put it in and it is all fuzzy and skips on the menu page--It is hilarious!
