What does PSP stand for?

I saw an advertisment for a movie that was due out today..it said buy it now on DVD or PSP..I know what a DVD is..but what the heck is a PSP?..thanks to anyone who can answer..this one has me totally stumped!

I hear this on TV for every new movie that is advertised as coming out on DVD. I was wondering what it meant as well. I don't really think that is what PSP means though (at least when they are saying it). Do you really think they make every single movie being released now in a mini version so people can use it for their playstation portable? Seems weird to me

Yes, PSP stands for Playstation Portable and believe it or not most newly released movies are being made in the UMD format for the PSP. It will be interesting how well the PSP movies will sell because they are usually more expensive than the DVD version.

I just bought a couple off of ebay used. I'll probably watch them and then sell them again.

they mostly just seem to release boy movies though.
