What does "pre-plated" mean?

Dumb question of the day...

I've read that CRT breakfast is pre-plated, and I thought that meant there's no menu, they just bring out plates of food, same for everyone.

But then I read a post where someone said CRT lunch was pre-plated. I know I've seen the menu for CRT lunch, and there were options, so I guess I'm not sure what "pre-plated" means. Can someone fill me in?

Thanks,

At breakfast, it is pre-plated and you have a choice of the healthy breakfast - granola, yogurt and fruit or the other breakfast - eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage (?), and cream cheese french toast. Guess which one I chose. DD (5) got eggs, french toast sticks and bacon. DD (1) got french toast sticks. You can get more just by asking. The potatoes and stuffed french toast were just as good the second time around.

Basically, it means that it is not a buffet, but it is all you can eat. You order from a limited menu, or you get the same offerings for everyone (depending on the restaurant), but if you want more, you ask and they bring it to you.

Pre-plated Character meals with a menu-
Akershus all three meals
Garden Grill lunch and dinner
CRT b'fast and lunch

Pre-plated Character meals without a menu (everyone gets the same things)-
'Ohana b'fast
LTT dinner
