Just wondering - is there an official timeframe for 'Seasonally'? We are goin 3rd week of Sept which is Value season and I would like to know whether things mentioned in Guidebooks as 'operates seasonally' are likely to be open or not. Thanks.

"Seasonally" basically means "whenever Disney feels like it!"

Seasonal attractions are not open on a set schedule; rather, they are open during peak crowd times such as holidays, or during rehabs of other attractions, so as to increase the parks' total ride capacity.

In September it is very unlikely that any of the seasonal attractions like COP, Timekeeper, or the Wonders of Life Pavilion at Epcot, will be open.

It could also mean "almost never" because Wonders of Life wasn't even open during July 4th weekend!

It means you won't be seeing any of those attractions!

:rotfl:

Kind of as I figured. Based on my general vacation schedule I will never see these 'seasonal' attractions. Oh well.

It doesnt always mean closed.

I know that COP was mentioned as Seasonally forever and it was open MOST all of that time.

COP has been open all year so far. But Timekeeper has only been opened for really busy times. It just opened for 4th of July weekend. So more likely then not it will be closed.

We saw Timekeeper open the first week of Nov'03 during Jersey Week when the parks weren't busy at all.

It was very cute! My kids recognized the 'Genie's' voice from Aladdin and I loved hearing Robin Williams with some of his greatest lines!

Well, you can see when we've been to WDW in my sig. The last time Timekeeper was open for us was in '99 or 2000. I would like to see it again and have the opportunity to take my kids to it, but I'm not holding my breath. We've had better luck with COP. We got to see it in Oct. '04, and maybe once or twice since '99, but there have been trips we've missed it comletely. It's too bad they can't at least open them a little more frequently.

It depends. We rode the COP during the 1st week of Dec. But Wonders of Life was closed (not that I missed it! - except it was raining and I wanted in! :rotfl2: )
