What does everyone do when they've been sweating in the parks all day...

We travel to WDW in late August every year and do a ton of TS dining and I generally just go and eat. My signature meals are usually planned for days that I have resort time planned for the afternoon, so easy to freshen up then. But other than that, we go straight from parks to dining. Some cool water in the face and neck in the bathroom and a change of top (we drive, so I just keep extra clothes in the car) and apply some makeup/brush the hair and good to go. Majority of the people in the restaurant aren't going to be able to tell if you've been to your room to shower or not.

You can easily take a taxi from the Contemporary to BWV, then one from BWV to the Grand Floridian. That would not take too much time.

You can get a taxi from any deluxe resort- just ask the people out front to hail one for you (& tip them a dollar or two). I won't use Uber, either.
Yeah, I would never use Uber. I would much rather keep the taxi companies in business and not use a company that has no regard for their customers safety. Please Google Uber and read some of the stories before you think about using them. They get away with a lot of things because they are not considered a taxi company, they are a ride share.

If we know we are going to be going to dinner in the evening after being in the parks all day, we will bring some washcloths, soap (I have allergies so I can't use just any and I carry these all the time anyway) deodorant/perfume,a comb, some make up and a new shirt. We all carry back packs so it's not all that heavy to add this in. A quick stop in a restroom, freshen up and it makes all the difference.

I have and I love them. I've used Taxi's on property too, didn't like them nearly as much.
I love helping an individual person make some money and we've met some really nice folks working as drivers

You do realize bad things can and do happen in taxis as well, right? Just making sure.

Anyway, OP, sorry if this has been mentioned but another option would be to carry a bag or backpack into the park with you. You could store it in a locker if you don't want to carry it around. Bring an easy, wrinkle resistant change of clothes (or Downey Wrinkle Spray), your deodorant, hair brush, etc. and just step aside in a restroom to clean up. I personally would rather go back to my room to do this, but this would at least save you time and hassle of the commute.

As an aside, I may give Uber a shot during our trip to WDW. People on the boards always rave about inexpensive taxis, but we've never found one on Disney property that wanted less then $20 to go anywhere.

from different reports, it seems many cm moonlight as uber drivers

it is a different, legitimate option. Use what works for you
