what does everyone do for a living?

I am a sahm and DH is a stagehand (one a few in charge of the Electrics Dept.) at the Metropolitan opera House in NYC.

I have been in love with Disney and the whole way of thinking my whole life. Luckily, I have been able to share that love with my husband, DS and DD and now we own DVC. We are very proud :wizard:

I'm an informatics RN working as a clinical analyst in the IS department of a multi-hospital network. My DH is a planning analyst for the local community college.

Many hospitals combine sick and vacation leave into 1 paid-time-off bucket. With that and personal holidays, I get close to 5 weeks off a year (they also have a use it or lose it policy). Since I am rarely sick:sick: , I plan on using this for more Disney trips!

I am a flight RN and my DH is a flight paramedic for a local air medical helicopter here.

We try to take at least 2 trips a year (somethimes three). We own DVC so it makes it alot easier!!

I'm an RN working in a Recovery Room and my DH is a mechanic at a dealership, not so glam, but if we save, save, save and I find great deals on airfare we can go twice a year sometimes.:goodvibes If not, we are in the once every year or two till DD (22) finishes college.

I'm a wife and homeschool mom.

DH is a manager/supervisor for Alabama Power Co. (electrical engineer).

I'm a kindergarten para pro and the hubby is a mechanic. Plus we also have a lawn care business.

I'm a senior(GS-14) data base administrator for the Treasury dept. I've been a Fed for 31 years now. My wife is once again a stay at home mom. We are raising our 5 yr old G'daughter as our own. Have been since the day she was born.

I spent my 1st 41 years in Fresno, Calif and went to Disneyland almost every year, sometimes more. 2006 was our 1st trip to WDW, we loved it. So much so we bought into DVC and this year we are spending a week+ at VB with a side trip or 2 to WDW.

If I lived closer we'd buy the annual pass and go a lot more.

My hubby and I both work for a major home improvement "big box" retailer.:badpc: (Who so happens to have the "lime Green Mickey" paint swatches!):rotfl2:
He is a store manager and I am a kitchen designer.
(not in the same store though!)

We go about 3-4 times a year. Two full weeks then small little 2 day trips. It's easier for us to go more often because...
#1 we only live about 1 1/2 hrs. from WDW
#2 we have Fl. Resident seasonal passes
#3 DVC...(best thing we ever bought!)

So when we go our only major expense is dining! (Thank God for the DDP!)

;) Love this thread!

I am a travel agent, specializing in.. you guessed it!!:lmao: Walt Disney Parks Resorts & Cruises

My DH is a water maintenance supervisor, can't say he loves his job this time of the year, it is COLD outside!!:scared1:

I work as a General Services Case Aide at Community Action Partnership, a non-profit agency. I don't make that much, but plan on saving money from every check along with my mom. Must find a way to the World!!

Congrats on joining all us SAHM...I hope you and your kiddo enjoy all the extra time you will get to spend together!

Awww, Thanks, Tink! I'm so blessed to be able to at home with my little man. We are hoping to add to the family in the very near future! BTW, DS loved you in that Peter Pan movie LOL:tinker:

i am a videoconferencing specialist/manager at a med school in philly. DH is a cop.

lately we have been able to manage WDW about once a year. we had a string there where we were going more than once a year, but that went by the wayside with the combo of a bigger mortgage when we moved and our DS advancing in school and taking him out of classes for vacations got to be too hard on him.

We are AP holders. (we stagger our trips every other year so that we get two trips out of one AP. each trip is for about 10 days.)

We try to go to Disney every 18 months to a year...probably could afford to go more but we go on cruises annuallly so we do Disney in between!

I am a Nurses assistant and DH works in a warehouse driving forklifts and stuff!

Jessica

I am a customer service rep at a utility company. DH does quality assurance at a medical insurance company (you know, as in "this call may be monitored for quality assurance"?)

We live in CA and make the pilgrimage to DL about once a year. This year, it will be our first time to WDW -- WHOO HOO! :yay: Primarily funded by our tax refund. Hope we start accruing some frequent flyer miles for next time, because the plane tix were expensive

Me-sahm who just finished degree and planning on sub-teaching until I hear if I have been accepted to law school

dh-aerospace quality control inspector (keeps the skies safe!!)

Our first trip as family is plannedfor May. We are staying off-site (Doubletree) on hilton points.

:banana:it's peanut butter jelly time!
