*What does everyone do for a living/job/career???*...

Hey everyone... just wanted to get an idea of what everyone does for a living/job/career? With this economy I'm esp. more curious!....
I'm 23 and I've worked in hospitality ALL of my life...I am even a former Walt Disney World/Resorts Cast Member where I hope to return someday with my boyfriend and our dog( will be 2 dogs eventutally!) lol

I work FT as a Reservationist at a Hotel here in PA, not a chain, actually a historic hotel. I also serve part-time whenever I can at TGI Fridays..and also because of the economy and not making enough money even tho I work FT at my job at the hotel with all the taxes/medical benefits money taken out its HORRIBLE!! What my paycheck is then what it goes down to.. its sick and sad!! On the side i'm trying to start wedding photography and I am starting a wedding certification course next month at my local community college, that will be my side job.. would be nice if I could be my own boss and be the only thing i do! haha

I am a SAHM, but up until I had to go on bedrest, I was a legal assistant at a privately owned investment management company. I still keep in touch with my co-workers there and they are fortunate to be actually experiencing growth at the firm right now, surprisingly. I'm not sure what I want to do when I go back to work in 5 years. I have a degree in Geography, but I don't really want to teach.

I'm a music teacher. I teach 4th and 5th graders to play violin, viola, cello, and bass. I consider it to be a very good, low stress job.

That is awesome!! I admire you for that.. my boyfriend is a 9-11 dispatcher and a firefighter/officer! I love him to death and I am so proud of what he does... I have been around so many incidients through the fire department.. and thats my other love--the emergency services.. hey it keeps you on your toes, theres something new everyday.. and hey as they say in Disney " we need an alpha unit over here.. " haha.. anyways i think thats awesome that your a medic. My boyfriend is going to complete his EMT now since he has every firefighter cerfticiate you can get--he has fire I and II even!

I teach preschool. The money really does suck, but it's something. And I am able to take/pick up my kids from school so no aftercare. Also no benefits, so luckily my DH carries the family. He is a Financial Planner/Managing Assoc. for John Hancock.
