In a nutshell, booking a concierge stateroom typically means you will have access to just about anything you want on the ship - first dibs on shore excursions, restaurants reservations, character meets, cabanas on CC, plus special receptions, nicer amenities in your stateroom, etc. Also, priority tendering, priority embarkation, staterooms ready on embarkation day before other guests and being personally escorted off the ship on a private elevator and in front of everyone else in line on debarkation day. It also means, if you forgot to pack your DH's dress shoes for Remy, they will find a pair in his size for you so you can keep your reservation! When we sailed concierge in Europe, it also meant presents delivered to our door when DS got sick, passport assistance when everyone had to turn their passports in in Iceland (no waiting in line in the theater!) and finding us a private tour guide in Scotland when we were told there were none available. We've sailed concierge on the Dream, Fantasy and Magic and the concierge staff are incredible. They will do their utmost to make sure you have an enjoyable cruise.
