We are staying at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort between 16th and 19th May before our Disney cruise and I am really hoping for soft openings to happen then - well I can dream !!
What does a soft opening mean?

We are there June 11-15 and hoping to hit a soft opening.
I was very lucky back when IoA opened to be able to buy a preview ticket for like $10. We went on Hulk and spiderman over and over, no lines. All the rides were open, but there were very few people there. I was a crazy teenager then and could stomach 10x on Hulk. lol. It was a very memorable experience. Feeling like the theme park is all yours.
