SMILE AND ACT LIKE YOU ARE 6 AGAIN!!!!!!!!

HPIM0186.jpg

That's what I do!!!

I LOVE meeting the characters!! More than my teen girls do.
We were in the perfume shop in France? I think...
Anyway, my youngest teen says.."Mom, Belle and the Beast are right over there"
I was like.."OMG...Really???" clapping my hands and jumping up and down.
I thought my girls were going to DIE!
I have met the beast before, but never Belle. I peeked around the corner and there they were!! I got the biggest hug from Belle and loved every minute of it.

Stitch always is soooo much fun, and Pooh danced with me once, Mickey could tell I was way honored to meet him when I did and was very very sweet. I was STARSTRUCK!
The only character I didn't enjoy was Mulan when we went in March. I saw her and was so excited, I waited in line to meet her and she just looked like "Ugh...an adult..." she was so fake, my pictures really were bad with her.
Cruella is awesome to talk to...cracks me up everytime.

And, Mary Poppins??? I just loved meeting her.

So, in the end...it doesn't matter how old you are....meet the characters and don't feel bad about it. It's DISNEY!!!!

Even though you've already gotten a LOT of responses saying go for it, I just have to add mine! I'm 24, Dh 25 and in Dec we had my first trip to WDW.Dh hadn't been since 10 years ago. I was telling him on the way down, " I dont know how I will act when I see a character... I just don't see myself getting excited".. skip forward to our disney character breakfast.. As soon as i saw those princesses come out, man, was I a different person! My DH had to laugh. I really got into it. Towards the end of the trip I was hopping with Tigger, telling him he's tiggeriffic (LOL), and we were asking Prince John about taxing people and Friar Tuck if he's seen Robin.. So you will definately let that magic take you over and just act like a kid!!! Have a great time!

Well, if you are the guy in front of us in the line to see Ariel, you basically creep out everyone else in line, leer at the mermaid, have a photo, and go on your merry way! :rotfl:

Poor Ariel. I also saw a lot of leering at Jasmine in her bellybutton exposing outfit. Guess it's all part of the job. :goodvibes

What do you do with the characters?
You can always ham it up and strike a pose :goodvibes

On our Dec. trip me and dbf took pics with many characters. We were in the Toon Town tent waiting to take a picture with Goofy and went we went to take the picture Goofy put his ear over my head! Then later on that day we were at AK and we were taking a picture with Lilo & Stitch and after we were done Stitch wouldn't let me go! He gave me a big kiss, we danced, he kissed me again, and he was shooing away DBF!!! People in the line were laughing saying that Stitch didn't want to let me go! I loved it! That is something I will always remember. I love how the characters interact with adults. It made me feel like a kid again!

OMG! Are you kidding me?! I LOVE the Characters! I don't care how childish I come across!
I'm 25 years old and half the reason why I keep coming back to my favorite world is for those silly characters.

I can't get enought of them, I'M LIKE A CHARACTER PAPPARAZZO!!!!!!

My bf LOVES the characters. On one of our trips we had to meet ALL the Power Rangers at MGM twice!! :teeth:

One time we were eating lunch at Blizzard Beach and I ran to the bathroom to wash my hands real quick.

When I got back to our table my bf was like "oh my gosh you won't believe what happened when you left!! Lilo and Stitch came down and sat at our table and Stitch tried to steal my chili dog!!"

He was SO excited!

It's been a 8 years since my mil went to Disney. At the time we went without children but went with others with children. We were at Crystal Palace for dinner and dh and I love Eyeore and Pooh respectively and had to get our pictures with them. But the most fun was Tigger who fawned all over mil with hugs and kisses and hair messes. Everytime he came through he would be sure to find her. It was the greatest time. What a memory for a 72 year old. She hasn't been back since. Now we have a child and want her to go with us, but she feels she is too old and sickly. And she may be too sickly, so she was able have that great memory from '98.

I'm a 25 year old who traveled to the World with my husband this past week. And trust me, we were in line for every character and they treated us as well as they did the kids who were in line with us. This was my DH 1st time and I really wanted him to experience the "magic" that the characters bring. Did he shock me or what. By the end of the week he had bought a pair of ears with his name on them and had an autograph book full of autographs (he made me hold the book...afterall he still needed to look tough!!! ROTFL!!!). He was proudly sporting his Mickey Mouse shirts (before the trip he would NEVER wear anything with the Mouse on it). At Park Fare he looked and me with a big grin and said "it's like their so real." I told them that they were. The best moment of the trip was on the day we left. We were waiting for Magical Express to arrive and I told him I was so sad to leave. He hugged my shoulder and said "oh we'll be back." I almost cried!! What a great trip! Don't be afraid to be a kid at heart!

Well my favorite interactions with characters were..I've only been twice..

The first one was on my honeymoon in 2004, Just as I was walking away from getting a picture taken with Donald Duck he started blowing me kisses..lol I blushed so bad my husband said lol

Then just this past Oct. We were taking our picture with Goofy and I was trying to walk away and he wouldn't let me go..lol it was so funny. My husband had to try and talk him into letting me go..finally his handler told him he had to let me go so i could enjoy the rest of my vacation..lol it is so funny and such a great memory it still brings teras of happiness to my eyes.

Oh and I'm 26..

We love the characters!!!! Although I was apprehensive about getting my picture with Cinderella, since I thought she would think I was special or something. lol :teeth: I quickly got over it though hehe My fave was getting our pic (just my dh and I) with Mickey, and I when I got a huge hug from Goofy. My dh says getting to have his piccy taken with Snow White is one of the highlights of his life. :rotfl:

I know what you mean. DH didnt ask for his picture with NONE of the princesses until Mary Poppins comes around! And then later on we saw Alice and he wanted in THAT pic too.. I started laughing and asked him if he had a thing for English women :hyper: I almost got jealous! j/k..

I also have to add that I LOVED Chip and Dale. They both gave me kisses and wouldn't stop!!!

This post is bringing back so many memories for me!

My wife has a video of me doing a duet with Alice to "In a World of My Own". Alice was a little self-conscious, and she didn't remember alll the words, but I went on singing. In all fairness, she had no line, and I thought she looked a little sad.
