I recently asked my "vacationista" about free time for the London and Paris adventure and this is the reply I received:
The following are details about your On Your Own timeframes for your
Adventure:
Day 1
Until 4:30 PM
The Welcome Dinner begins at approximately 5:00 PM, so Guests arriving
early may check in to the hotel and explore London at their leisure.
Guests will be given tickets by Adventure Guides to visit the London Eye
on Day 1 of the Adventure. Tickets should be used during OYO time.
Day 2
2:30 PM - End of the day
In London, beginning at Simpson's-in-the-Strand.
Guests will be given tickets by Adventure Guides to visit the London Eye
on Day 1 of the Adventure. Tickets should be used during OYO time.
Tickets to see 'The Lion King' in London are not offered this year. If a
caller is interested in seeing 'The Lion King' or any other show, this
would be the best day to purchase tickets.

12:30 PM - 2:30 PM
5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

7:00 PM - End of the day

In Paris, after hotel check-in
Day 6

In Paris
Day 7

This looks consistent with the free time I had last summer. But in reality, here's what I saw as free time:
Day 1 London - I did use my ticket in the afternoon to ride the London Eye. Some people saved it til the next day then didn't get it in.
Day 2 London - after lunch this truly was what I felt the only really good block of time on our own on the trip. It was wonderful b/c we got a transportation pass to use on this day, so I took the tube back to walk around Piccadilly Circus. Then I went to the zoo to see the Winnie the Pooh statues and wandered the streets doing story book statue hunt through London using the tube and buses (Sherlock Holmes, Paddington, Peter Pan).
Day 3 & 4 at Foxhills - most of this time was spent unpacking, checking out the resort, relaxing at the resort, and packing.
Day 4 Windsor - this free time was near the castle, really as a chance for us to get lunch on our own.
Day 5 at St. Pancras Station - this time was spent across the street at King's Cross station waiting in line to get my picture taken at Platform 9 3/4

.
Day 6 Paris - we were given tickets for the Arc de Triomphe which most of us used during the on our own time in the evening, this was also a decent block of time.
Day 7 Paris - this free time was near Notre Dame, really as a chance for us to get lunch on our own.
Hope this helps!
