What Documents come from Disney and when should they be received???

I was reading in my Disney book that I received from AAA for the Disney packages, in the back it says that "Documents will be mailed approximately 40 days prior to arrival {after receipt of final payment}. Then it talks about airfare, which we didn't get.
And that Disney attraction tickets will be picked up by the guest at the hotel at check in.

I assume even if someone didn't book through AAA, that this goes for them also.

I am really starting to wonder if these "documents" are going to come or not. As you can see by our counter, we are way under 40 days. I made our final payment on 6/1, so they should have gotten the money along time ago.

If you received stuff like this from Disney, about when did it arrive before your trip?
I am really starting to get worried.

I got my confirmation letter about 5 days after booking (from WDW Travel Co. I just changed my package and added a room only on Monday and I got those confirmations today. Last year I think it took about three weeks after making the final payment, as I too was starting to get concerned. Maybe AAA doesn't send in the pyt as soon as you paid them. Call and find out.

after the original confirmation, the only thing we recieved from Disney was the luggage tags at a couple weeks out. no confirmation of payed in full or anything, just luggage tags.

I got a nice little folder of documents after I made my final payment. I used a travel agent, but the documents did look like they came from Disney rather than a travel agency. I would call AAA to see what's going on.

Today I finally got tired of waiting to see if anyone from AAA was going to call about these documents or not, so I went to AAA instead.

Here to find out the travel agent that booked our trip just got back not to long ago from her vaca and hadn't had time to go through the docs yet. When she got them out of the filing cabniet, there was a post note on it saying "waiting for other documents". While she was going through the documents I asked her about the Trip Tix that we said we wanted when we booked our trip. To find out that one had not been ordered for us. AAAHHHH!!!! She proceed to make one up for me and said that I could either wait for it or come back in a day or two to get it. After everything I have been through with them I just told her that I would wait for it. In total I was there over an hour. Another one of the reasons I went up in person was to find out what was going on with the money that I had already paid for a hotel room that I cancelled back on 7/9. I was told it would take 5 to 7 business days for it to be refunded to my debit card. The 7 business day was 7/20. When I called the bank to check on it and found that it wasn't there, I was HOT!!! Called AAA and of course the travel agent {not the orginal one that booked our trip} that cancelled my reservation wasn't in the office that day. They took a message to have her call me back the next, but no call. When I asked about it when I went in today, I was told that it might take longer to show up at my bank. I have a feeling I just lost $55!

After finally leaving I came home and was going over these documents, since she only went through them and told me what they were, I found that the extra room that we booked and that I had already paid for when I paid the $200 deposit, the document says that only $92 and some odd change has been received. So now I have to make another trip to AAA again. AAAHHH!!!

The next trip I am doing everything!! This is getting to be riduclous {?} having to go through all of this. Or next time I might try Dreams Unlimited {I think that's what people on here call them LOL!!}

Sorry to hear you had so many problems. Good thing you are the kind of person of checks and follows up, huh???

Don't blame you for thinking it would just be easier to do it yourself. That said, if you are willing to give TAs another chance, I bet you will be very happy with DU.
