...... What do your children say they want to be when they grow up?

I asked a friend's daughter - a really sweet little girl - what she wanted to be and she told me very seriously ....... a mermaid or a vet :teeth: ! Ah, SO sweet :) !!!

When DD was little she wanted to be a "police lady or a singing lady"!! Perhaps influenced by the fact that I was a police officer and DH was a professional singer!!

I don't know about the litle uns so much but I want to be a pool cleaner (in Florida obviously) when I grow up!!.

I would like to be a CM - Now that would be cool!!!

DS wants to be a Vet or work in a pet store. He's a eight.

DS (12) likes maths and wants to be an accountant - this is obviously if he fails to become Arsenal's next David Seaman!

DW (10) wants to be an archeologist. (watches too much 'Time Team' methinks!)

I asked youngest DD Laura this question - and I'm ashamed to say she wants to be a lap dancer:o :o

ROFLOL Alison :teeth: (Does she actually know what a lap dancer does?)

Rads flits between computer salesperson and Nurse (can't imagine why! LOL) she also has her moments of wanting to be a teacher.

I on the other hand, have given this a lot of thought and come up with my perfect job for if I ever grow up (unlikely)...

I'd like to work for Disney in a lovely airconditioned office with a view of the Magic Kingdom parades, I'll only be working 2 days a week for the mornings only which will leave me the rest of the time free to ride the rides and chill out in the water parks with my family. My job will be to man the 'Disney appreciation line' where happy customers phone up to talk enthusiastically about anything Disney.

of course, this comes with a huge salary and a very attractive package :)

I can dream can't I?

LOL

Well Shirley, she said she wants to get rich by men putting money in her knickers.....

Oh and now she tells me she wants to do 'massaging' as well.....golly, sometimes I'm so proud of my children!!

..... perhaps I shouldn't have asked :teeth:

LOL!

She's just read this thread over my shoulder and said that she's changed her mind and thinks she'll be a physiotherapist! Phew! At last a profession I can be proud of!!

I want to be North American - Canada or the States will do me nicely!

Hmmm. So many choices. The kids mostly just answer 'I don't know" which would be okay if one of them wasn't just entering 2nd year of university. I've been watching a lot of TV and movies lately, and thinking acting doesn't look like hard work. Mostly no heavy lifting. But right about now anything at WDW would be fine with me.
