I have a "Starfiber" mop which I spray with a mixture of vinegar and warm water (about 1/3 vinegar, 2/3 water). Makes my pergo shine like glass! Cheap, natural, checmical free, I love it!

I have that same mop. LOL However I spray the floor in small areas with a spray bottle of vinegar/water and then mop it up. The only thing is this mop wears me out. I have had my floors for several years too. I just wondered if there were other ways. Thanks for the reply.
my whole house is pergo, and i use swiffer wet cloths on it. always have, and it's still as beautiful as the day we put it down. unfortunately, due to a water leak in the hall bathroom back in january, there's a small section in the guest bedroom next door to the bathroom that has buckled and will have to be replaced
I use the swiffer wet for everyday cleaning, and the shark every once in a while to remove buildup and get them really shiny. I may try the vinegar and see how that is.
Hmmm...I'm interested in this as well. It seems no matter what I use on my (dark) laminate floors, I get streaks. I've tried the Swiffer wet pads as well as many other products with the same results. I'm currently using the Bona hard surface cleaner which seems to streak the least so far, but it still leaves some. I'll have to try the straight vinegar/water, but I've been wondering about a steam cleaner.....??
