What do YOU use on your "Disney" feet?!

What helps me is I bought very comfortable and expensive sneakers and I only use them a week prior and the week of WDW. We go twice a year! I call them my Disney sneakers!

I also may ice them at night and use the hot tub in the morning to get the blood flowing.

Make sure you don't overly tighten the laces!

In the middle of the day take your shoes off for a few minutes.

Good luck....
A great place to take your shoes off is ellen's energy, carousel of progress and the people mover...all longer rides to give the toes a breather!

I switch sandals every day and always wear good quality, supportive ones. I put Body Glide on every morning and reapply during the day as necessary. At night, I soak in Bath & Body True Blue Spa foot soak in the tub. Now, the absolute BEST things I have found for feet, and I have tried everything out there, are made by Blue Goo- they have a Pain Relief Gel and a Foot Softener-available in Walmart, drugstore.com, Amazon, etc. This stuff is incredible. I use the Pain Relief Gel first, let that sink in, and then apply a good coat of the Foot Softener and put socks on top and sleep in them all night. By the morning, not only is there no pain or stiffness but my feet look like I just had a pedicure-completely soft and smooth. This also helps my actual pedicure last longer and look new.

The Foot Softener does stain my socks, so I have a few dedicated pairs that I wear just for this purpose. At home, I will do this once or twice a week. I have had heel cracks that would not go away no matter how often I had pedicures or put cream or oil or a million other things on them. I started using this stuff and my feet healed within a week and have not had any more issues in over two years. It really works.

Two comfortable pairs of shoes to rotate and a coating of body glide on the bottom of the feet every morning.

Spending some time OFF your feet may help also. Watch some shows and enjoy a table service meal.
If it's say 2 pm , you might have a 90 minute wait at Space Mt , maybe 50 or 60 at astro orbiter or you can sit down in the carousel or the TTA. The kind of choices you make throughout the day can add up by the end of the day IMO.

I alternate shoes as well and I get my tennis shoes from a marathon runner's store so they can evaluate my gait and get me the right shoe.

I was staying off property one year and it had a Jacuzzi bathtub so every nite I got in that and let the jets work on y feet - that was the best trip I had ever had with walking! It really helped!

I wear Sketchers tennis shoes, but I may try a hiking sandal the next time we go. What I do is to powder my feet in the morning and wear moisture wicking synthetic socks. My experience is that cotton socks, when they get wet, will rub like crazy. I haven't had a blister yet. During the day, when we eat or take a rest break in a quiet place, i'll slip my feet out of my shoes to let them take a breather. As I found out last time, if you do this where you can be seen, a CM will come by and ask you to put your shoes on (for your safety.)

After we get back to the room, i'll put on a thick pair of flip flops. That seems to help my feet "relax." Before I got to bed, I rub my feet down with Icy Hot liquid.

Another thing I always do besides a good shoe with socks - after every shower, I always massage my feet with pure petroleum Vaseline, and wear an old pair of socks for awhile until it's all soaked in. My feet stay soft and 'pliable' - not stiff. I do this all the time, not just at Disney. My 69 yr. old feet look better than 'some' teen's feet LOL - never worry about cracked or rough heels. Was always taught to take as good of care of my feet as my hands and it has paid off! :)

I have a rollar massage thingy that i roll my feet on every night - plus pepermint foot balm - i also switch from tennis shoes to crocs sandles/or flip flops - it gives my feet a chance to 'air out' and i use gold bond powder in my shoes

It hadn't even occurred to me to bring epsom salts. That's a great idea! Going to stash a bag of those away in my packing box, now.

We usually go during warmer weather and I despise wearing sneakers at the parks so I have tried many different sandals. I love my Sanuk sling sandals and find they are so comfortable. They don't provide support but the soles are made from yoga mat material and are so soft. They aren't great once soaking wet but I typically bring another pair with me and leave them in a locker. I was 5 months pregnant during our last trip and found them to be more comfortable than my sneakers.

The body shop has this peppermint line of foot care that is awesome. They have a gel, a spray, lotion, etc. I love the gel I usually put it in the fridge and rub it on my feet at night. I also use the lotion and the spray. Go check it out and read the reviews the products are great.
I have to add to this the peppermit foot spray is great! And I've found even though I am allergic to a lot of things makeup things and other skin stuff I have no reaction to it so it may be good for others with sensitivities.

Moleskin added before socks and shoes on every area that gets rubbed.
After returning to the hotel, I remove all the moleskin and take a shower before bed.
After my shower I rub peppermint essential oil on my feet and put socks on.
Wash hands, go to bed.

Once I started wearing Bernie Mev shoes in the parks, my feet quit hurting or even being tired at the end of the day. I think maybe part of it is because they are lighter weight shoes. We are open to close people too. I usually wear the Comfi or Cuddly style in the parks, or if I want a sandal, the Cindy style. My feet are very blister prone and years ago I saw a tip here to use Body Glide to avoid blisters. I put it on my feet every morning before going to the park, and I have not had even one blister since I started using it. Before it, I always got blisters at WDW.

i do my own nails, but have many friends who have complained that after a pedicure they often get awful blisters. Blame it on any protective calluses they may have being removed.

have switched over to gold bond's version of body glide, much cheaper, just as effective for me & easy to find @ WM.

We also use body glide on feet and have not had a blister at WDW. I saw that tip on here a long time ago and we have used it since and it works!

Take a frozen water bottle, put it on its side on the floor, roll your foot on it back and forth while you are sitting in a chair. If you can't freeze it, just chill it. You can also use a tennis ball. First one foot a few minutes then the other. Then again. Sit in a tub of warm water and soak your feet. Wear wide enough shoes with good arch support that are not new for the trip. Bring a second pair of a different brand that are also comfortable and supportive and alternate one day this pair, next day the other pair. The shoes will hit your feet in slightly different ways so the exact same touch points won't take a beating every day. Good fitting, comfortable worn in but not worn out walking sneakers with ties, not slip ons. These methods work for arch, sole, and heel pain.

Yes, this...all of it!!! I use the tennis ball rather than the frozen water bottle because it works better for me but either one is great for stretching out and soothing those muscles. I always bring 2 or 3 pair of good supportive athletic shoes (and moisture wicking socks) and switch them out every day -- and sometimes during the day if we go back to the room for a break. I also use the Gold Bond anti-friction stick all over my feet each morning. And I massage them with peppermint lotion every evening or use some Bio Freeze on them depending on how they feel. And I take Aleve around the clock while we're at Disney World. Between the extra wear & tear on my feet, knees, and hips from all the extra walking each day and the beds being too firm and causing me major back pain, my body takes a beating on a Disney vacation. I learned very quickly to take the preventative pain meds while at Disney.
