We've never visited Disney in May. But we're going in May 2006. We've narrowed the dates down to May 3 -13 or May 10-20.

Will there be a difference in crowd levels or will the crowds be the same for both weeks?

Thanks!

Cynde

Hi Cynde,

We almost always visit in May and just love it so much, there isn't *that* much of a difference between your two sets of dates. The later dates may be slightly more busy and you will probably hit the Star Wars weekends if that's your thing.

Paul.

Thanks, Star Wars is not my thing but DS will love it. DH will enjoy it as well.

My family heads to Disney in May every year. The weather is great during that time and the crowds are just perfect.

This year we went from May 7-16 and it only rained once for an hour or so in the evening, then cleared off for a perfect evening. The crowds were great too, some of the fast passes that we had gotten, we didn't need to use. The crowds were that low, that you could just walk right up and get on at various times during the week.

Have fun, and we may see you there :cool1:

I agree--either time would be great. We always go in late May to hit the first SW weekend before most schools get out (ours is always out before Mem. Day, so this works great for us.) Crowds aren't bad and the weather is hot but dry. However this May at MGM was a zoo in the Star Wars area due to the opening of the new movie coinciding with our visit. But we've never had a problem before.(The rest of the park was not corded at all!) If your son is a SW fan he'll love it.
