Hubby 1st trip to WDW, and he wants to go with the silver package to experience all the nice dining options.

Here are the dinner PS's I've scheduled so far:

Sat: Les Chefs de France
Sun: Hollywood's Brown Derby
Mon: Narcoossee's
Tue: (Open, however PS for Cirque du Soleil)
Wed: (Open)
Thu: Hoop-Dee-Doo
Fri: Artist Point

Do you think I have a fair, broad selection? Any recommendations for the open dates? I think I'm going to be open with our lunch plans, since these we'll pay for. Any good recommendations for lunch???

Thanks!

Two of our favorites for dinner are California Grill at the Contemporary and 'Ohana at the Polynesian. Fabulous food and both have wonderful and very different atmospheres. There is nothing like watching the sunset and the fireworks from the CG.

If you are interested in a character dinner that is good for adults, I recommend the Garden Grill in The Land. We do not have kids, but we really enjoyed it.

As for lunch, we enjoy the variety at the Sunshine Season Food Fair in The Land in Epcot, Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, and Mexico in World Showcase.

Sounds like you will have a delicious time. Enjoy!

Cailf Grill is great. What about fultons for your Cirque nite?

I've thought about that, but I've heard their food left something to be desired, for the price. I'm thinking about Portabello's YC.

I also selected Narcoossee's, because it's suggested we can see the fireworks from MK. It's the only night their shooting off while we're there...does anyone know if you can see them. I don't expect a great view, but something to light up the night.

I have heard nice things about Portobello Yacht Club. Of course California Grill, too. :D

Yes you can see the fireworks from Narcoosees - it was a lovely view from our table.

For open nights I would also recommend Portobello Yacht Club over Fultons.

As another option, I love the castle in MK for dinner. It is much more quiet there than during breakfast and the sun setting through the stained glass is really pretty.

If you even remotely like blue cheese when you go to Artist Point look for the salad that includes Maytag Blue Cheese and pear - it is the best salad I've ever eaten!

How about The Yachtsman Steakhouse at YC/BC. You could combine dinner here with Illuminations at Epcot (just that short little walk). The filet is to die for - the service is great - and a good wine selection (not nearly like California Grill).

You've given me some great ideas, I really didn't want this trip to be about food, but I do want to enjoy some fine dining options.

I really appreciate all your suggestions.

Thanks!
