I am wondering what affect the economy will have on Disney attendance this spring. I had already booked a preferred room at the Pop months ago for the week after Easter. I was looking at tourguidemikes website and a poster said that she got the 4/3 deal the week after Easter even though the dates were technically during the blackout period. I decided to check myself and see what was up with that. Sure enough, I was able to get the 4/3 deal in standard room at the Coronado Springs resort for $350 cheaper than what I was going to pay in a preferred at the Pop. I switched resorts!
Anyway, I was thinking that Disney must really be hurting or expecting to be hurting if they are willing to give the 4/3 deal during the weeks surrounding Easter during the time you would think they wouldn't have any trouble selling out. I am hoping that this might mean the parks will not be as crowded as normal this time of year. What do you all think?
